An e-learning environment ment to help smokers to stop smoking.
Long description:
Destopsite.nl is an initiative by Stivoro. Stivoro is a well-known non-profit organisation ment to help smokers to stop smoking. Destopsite.nl is a great example of the tools used to achieve this goal. After users register on the site (for free) they enter an environment that helps them keep track of their smoking habbits, gives advice on how to prepare to stop smoking and how to never smoke again.
Technical:
Destopsite.nl's entry page is build in PHP on a simple CMS system. The login form forwards authentication to a tomcat/jsp backend based on Didactor and uses a mysql database to store data.
This perticular environment differs greatly from the standard Didactor capabilities and most of these changes have been done in jsp/mmbase code.
